Q) Will we need training?
A) As with all software some familiarising is required, we find that as the software is so intuitive most people feel comfortable and confident very quickly. As you would expect full training can be provided and during the first 30 days free software support is provided.

Q) Will I still need my appointment book?
A) No, all customer appointments are now managed by the computer, and provides all appointments displayed in a familiar way as per most peoples appointment book. It is so easy and quick to make or change an appointment and you will like the way customer appointments change colour with differing stages of treatment in the salon, you can see exactly where you are up to.

Q) Do I need token opp’s or other sunbed timing systems?
A) It is really up to you, if you wish you can use the system in “stand alone mode” or as a “total control” system. In stand alone mode the computer will replace your existing customer card index system, storing all client information including address and all contact details, all appointments, purchases, special customer notes in fact all you need. You can use your existing timing system to control equipment. On the other hand in total control mode the computer will time treatments and switch equipment on/off.

Q) Can I manage my stock on the computer?
A) Total salon management will control all your stock, it stores prices (cost, retail etc) and stores full records of all stock movements, it even has facilities to help make sure you never run out of stock or on the other hand order to much.

Q) How will it help me make sure my till always balances?
A) As customers arrive at the salon and are booked in, the computer stores all treatment prices sales etc, as the customer has more services these are automatically added the customer bill. When all is finished you can see exactly what sales and services have been carried out and full details of prices etc. The customer pays and the computer even tell's you exactly what change to give. You can at the push of a button have a visual display at any time of all salon transactions and exactly how much should be in the cash draw. At the end of the day the same is true you have all the information you need to cash up quickly and easily.

Q) I have different members of staff and run different shifts can I still do this?
A) You can have as many different shift times as you wish, you can also have as many staff passwords as you wish

Q) What services will Total salon management cater for?
A) The software is very flexible and will cope with most situations; it can be used in Beauty salons, Hair Salons, Tanning Salons or indeed a mixture of all. It will look after all treatments and services and it can even be used to switch on/off your equipment if this is required.

A) Everyone requirements may differ and we will discuss and advise the best options and we will do all possible to help get you started in the quickest and easiest way possible.

Q) Is the software upgradeable?
A) Yes, we operate a program of continuous development and we strive to provide the best and most efficient systems for you. Your system can start small and grow as you wish.

Q) I have stock going missing what can I do?
A) With Total salon management you can see at any time how much stock you have and with each shift change you get a stock report. Many salons have this problem and we have found that once your stock is controlled (and your staff see this) the problem goes away for good.

Q) I have cash missing all the time.
A) This is a common problem, this can of course be due to staff simply giving incorrect change, with Total Salon Management staff are told how much change to give clients and thus it is always correct. Some salons report more than just little losses and put this down to theft. This can be hard to track in a busy salon with a manual system but with Total Salon Management each shift is totally controlled and thus this eliminates theft. As equipment is started by the computer no treatments can take place without cash been taken – therefore - No more free treatments to friends

Q) Do I have set times for appointments?
A) The system is totally flexible and appointments can be made at any times, we find that with this system you can book as many as 20% more clients and thus more profits.
